Description and Features of the SITE/ASSET
Dall'ingresso del Museo è possibile accedere ad un tratto di camminamento scoperto delle mura aureliane di circa 350 metri. Dopo aver subito numerose ristrutturazioni in epoche successive, sia nell'antichità sia in epoca moderna, le mura sono tra le cinte murarie antiche più lunghe e meglio conservate al mondo, costruite tra il 270 e il 275 dall'imperatore Aureliano per difendere Roma, capitale dell'impero.
